Additional requirements include maintenance of regular safety checks of the labs, waste pick-up coordination, and assisting with MRI testing.
  • Wear testing involves conducting tests on medical devices to measure the amount and type of wear induced under ASTM and ISO standards. These tests typically take weeks and months to execute and the co-op is responsible for conducting each interval of the test, including cleaning, desiccating, weighing, and photographing each component. Additionally, the analysis includes MicroCT scanning, WLI, and Talyrond measurements.
